If one is terribly sad for the sake of meeting God then only answer is to keep resolutely the company of saints where the lord could be found with all ease.
Company of wicked makes one lose everything at its last whereas communion with saints makes one achieve the immortal truth once and for all.
Where the name of the lord, there is the light of God,
When the mind goes filled with divine wealth which is possible in the company of a saint fabulous wish-granting gem will be awarded to make life good for here and best for the hereafter.
Even on attaining infinite resources, one can not attain perfection but the company of true saints. Without a true master how the purity of heart and mind could be attained and without so how one can reach at the ultimate soul mate.
Even in Heaven mind can not be cool down to attain the state of bliss but in the company of a true saint.
