Many spiritual aspirants have succumbed to the vagaries of the mind.
Because insatiable hankering for sense pleasures it reduces to a level of a pitiful beggar as begging from everyone and begging everywhere.
This kind of mind itself becomes the dreadful enemy of self.
So long the mind is engrossed in sensual defilement, the lord of three worlds, the giver never comes to mind.
